about
Recorded in the spring of 2007 as a bonus track (along with Axe Cross) for the vinyl release of "Into the Cauldron".
Our friend 'Speed Metal' Clayton suggested we learn some German speed metal to play at the Keep It True festival in April 2007, so we figured this one out from Jason's "Mean Machine" cassette tape in the jam space before we left. I think when we played it most people thought it was an original. We talked about recording a cover of Gravestone's "I Love the Night" but went with the Tyrant song instead.
This was also recorded in our jam space at the time. When we were done for the day Jason figured we should record him shotgunning a beer for the intro. I think the "Fuck!" is from the puncture spraying beer all over the microphone.
Jason Decay: Bass/Vocals
Ian Chains: Guitar/Backing Vocals
Al Chambers: Drums/Backing Vocals

TWC keeps getting better and better and better... Electrified might be my favorite Haunt track to date. Production is getting more impressive by the day. If there is a face of DIY metal, this could very well be it. zfdavoodi

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
