about
This one was recorded in 2010 during the "Burning Fortune" session. Released as a 7" along with Iron Beast and Sacrifice.
"Moonlight Desires" is one of those summertime Canadian radio staples that goes well with chugging a cold Pilsner and diving into a lake. File next to Rush "Time Stand Still". Figured we'd record a cover of it, knowing that nobody outside of Canada would know what it was. I recall that the only time we ever played it outside of Canada was in Barcelona to a room full of Spanish maniacs. It went over like a lead zeppelin as they say.
There's also the story about Larry Gowan being in our rehearsal building and wanting to meet us. He was aware of our cover thanks to his son playing it for him. The superintendent of the rehearsal space was with him and knocked on our door, but we were taking an extended beer break in the park across the street. I think Joe Perry was in the building too for some reason, but he definitely wanted nothing to do with us. We never did get to meet Larry!

TWC keeps getting better and better and better... Electrified might be my favorite Haunt track to date. Production is getting more impressive by the day. If there is a face of DIY metal, this could very well be it. zfdavoodi

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
